Recycle Into Education
Recycle into Education
The Recycle into Education project was launched by Turkcell in cooperation with the Informatics Industry Association (TÜBİSAD), with the aim of combating the global e-waste challenge and reducing the burden of non-recyclable electronic waste worldwide.
The initiative encourages the responsible recycling of all types of e-waste—such as phones, computers, tablets, and game consoles. Electronic waste collected at Turkcell stores is sent for recycling, and the proceeds generated from this process are donated to support quality education for children through the Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey (TEGV).
The project reduces the environmental impact of e-waste and makes a positive social contribution. The project contributes meaningfully to the reduction of environmental harm by removing e-waste from storage areas. Additionally, it aligns with global efforts toward sustainable consumption and production, reinforcing Turkcell’s environmental responsibility commitment by emphasizing responsible recycling.
The project welcomes the support of all citizens, whether or not they are Turkcell customers, as well as institutions and organizations.
