Turkcell provides many different accessibility products and social responsibility projects under the umbrella of “No Barriers” to make life more accessible, equal and independent for disabled people.
My Dream Companion application removes social barriers for visually disabled people through their technologies like audio description and indoor navigation, and content like audio books, trainings, news.
My Gem Inside application provides inclusive and equal education for children with autism through its comprehensive educational games catalogue.
My Sign Language application builds a digital communication bridge for deaf with the help of its instant translator and Sign Language trainings.
We are also working to break down prejudices and insensitivity towards disability; with the support of our “Dialogue Museum”, where non-disabled individuals have a short-term experience of being disabled, comes at the top of these efforts. Our “No Barriers Training Program” provides support for the education of disabled children in classrooms prepared for the visually, hearing and mentally impaired, as well as initiatives for their employment. Braille printed books and Orbit Readers (note taking) are provided for visually impaired students. We are providing digital support to the education of children living with autism spectrum disorder through our recent “My Gem Inside” project.
