Each day, after you have sent 1 payable SMS message from WebMesaj, you are allowed to send 15 more messages at no cost*. This means that you can send 16 messages for the price of one. You will be charged for “1 short message” after the 16th message.
*Free messages must be sent only to Turkcell or Hazır Kart subscribers.
Cost for sending MMS using WebMesaj:
Each day, after you have sent 1 payable MMS message from WebMesaj you are allowed to send 15 more free SMS messages or 7 MMS messages (1MMS = 2 SMS).
After you have used the free messages, normal rates apply for each additional message.

Cost for sending email using WebMesaj:
WebMesaj email service is free.
Send a SMS, stating your POP3 telephone’s model number, to 2222 to request the adjustment of settings. This SMS request is free. Upon adjusting the settings on your mobile telephone, receiving and sending emails will be charged to the computer internet service.
If you wish to be notified when an email arrives, you can request the service by sending a free SMS message with the words UYARI AC to 2222.
Each time you are notified, you will be charged 1 SMS/2 units.
What is the cost for Shared Group SMS messages?
Each day, the first message sent to a shared group is charged one 1 SMS/2units. During the same day, you may send 15 additional messages at no further cost*.
*Free messages must be sent only to Turkcell or Hazır Kart subscribers.
This service is available to all Turkcell subscribers.

How will I be charged for using WebMesaj?
WebMesaj email services are free.
TurkcellE-PostaAdresi services are free.

After you have used the free messages, normal rates (1 SMS/2units, 1 MMS/2 SMS/4 units) apply for each additional message.
*You are entitled to 15 free short messages, or using the formula 1 MMS = 2 SMS, you can also send MMS messages. (For example: After the first message of each day, you may send 3 free MMS plus 8 SMS messages.)
How can I send messages to more than one person at the same time?
You can send messages to more than one address at the same time using WebMesaj. To do this, simply go to WebMesaj‘s “New Message” screen, and choose the “Send To” box, where you can write the addresses you want to send the message to, separating them with commas or semicolons. If you wish, from the message screen, choose “Send To” and select addresses from your Address Book to whom you wish to send the message.
Who can I send messages to using WebMesaj?
You can send to all domestic and foreign SMS providers. You can send MMS messages to Turkcell and Hazır Kart subscribers who own a telephone with the MMS function.
How are messages sent to more than one number charged?
If you send a message to more than one address, it is charged as a separate message for each address. E.g. If a 160 word message is sent to 3 different numbers, it counts as 3 messages. In groups, as many messages may be sent as there are members, and charges are applied according to the shared groups rate.
Can I send personal pictures and videos using WebMesaj?
The MMS page has 50 MB of capacity for personal use. In the MMS section in the lower right-hand corner there is a space to download and record your videos, pictures and sound files.
Acceptable file formats:
Pictures: image/gif, image/jpeg, image/jpg, image/png, image/x-png, image/x bmp, image/bmp
Sound: audio/midi, audio/wav, audio/x-wav, audio/amr, audio/mpeg
Video: video/3gp, video/3gpp
What is a shared group?
Instead of sending the same message one by one to different addresses you can create a shared group so that you only have to send the message once. Everyone in your shared group will receive the message and it i’s also less expensive. Replies sent by a person in the group can be seen by everyone in the group. You can send messages to shared groups from WebMesaj or your mobile telephone.
What is WebMesaj’s capacity?
Email Capacity:
Email capacity is 1 GB. You can store up to 1000 messages. Attachments up to 5 MB can be sent with your emails.
SMS capacity:
There is no limit for SMS messages.
Address Page Capacity:
2000 records can be stored. Remember that records found in your “trash” are included in this number.

WebMesaj pages take a long time to load. What shall I do?
Changing the settings on your Internet explorer will solve the problem:
If Turkish Internet Explorer is loaded, choose: Araçlar/Internet Seçenekleri/Gelişmiş bölümü/Güvenlik kisminda/Şifreli Sayfaları Diske Kaydetme.
If English Internet Explorer is loaded, go to Tools/Internet Options/Advanced Tab/Do not save encrypted pages to disk.
Can I get information about “Sent” and/or “Read” messages?
Information about sent or read messages is not available.
How can I send an SMS to a foreign provider’s subscriber using WebMesaj?
All you have to do to send a message to a foreign provider’s subscriber abroad is to add “00” to the country code before it is sent.

How can I make changes to a Shared Group?
The creator of the group can add new members, delete members, and perform other functions from the “addresses-shared group” section.
According to the number of characters in a message, how is the cost of a message calculated?
A “message” consists of 160 characters. If you send a message that has more than 160 characters, the message is separated and sent in parts, each of which is considered to be a separate message. On your screen there is a counter that tells you the number of characters your message contains. For free messages or shared group messages the words “TurkcellMesajlarım” or the Group name is added to the message, at no extra cost.
How can I change my password?
Your WebMesaj password and your SüperŞifre password are the same. If you forget your password or if you want to change it, you can log in to the www.turkcell.com.tr website to make necessary changes to your SüperŞifre.
What informatıon can I store on the WebMesaj "My Addresses" page?
With WebMesaj, you can keep detailed information about your contacts like up to 5 phone numbers, 2 e-mail addresses, company and home address and birthday per contact.
How can I send messages to Shared Groups?
After you have created a shared group, you can send SMS messages to each member of the group from your mobile telephone or over the internet. To send a message from your telephone, write GRUP, space, GROUP NAME, write your message and then send it to 2222. (Example: GRUP RELATIİVES Happy New Year).
While writing the group name it is important to use large and small letters correctly. The name of the group must be exactly the same as it was when created. To send messages over the internet, go to WebMesaj’s New Message section, write your messages and send them to the group you have created.
If the members of the group accept the invitation to the group, when they log on to WebMesaj they will be able to see all the members of the group on the screen and will be able to send messages to the group. Since messages sent to shared groups cannot be split, the message, including the name of the group must be no more than 160 characters in length. Otherwise the end of the message will be cut off.
How can I create a Shared Group?
From “My Addresses”, choose “Shared Groups”, begin creating your group from “Create New Group”. If the name you choose for your group is already in use, the system will instruct you to choose a different group name. After you have named the group, you can begin to add the member addresses (“Add Members”). All members of your group must be Turkcell or Hazır Kart subscribers. The maximum number of group members is 15.
How can I see my mobile telephone address book on the WebMesaj page?
For your mobile telephone’s directory to appear on the WebMesaj “My Addresses” page, you have to use TurkcellTelefonRehberim . By using the TurkcellTelefonRehberim service, your telephone records will automatically be transferred and will appear on the WebMesaj “My Addresses” screen.
How will members of a shared group be informed they are members of the group?
The GSM number added to a group will be sent an invitation. If you don’t wish to be a group member, send the SMS GRUP #SIL ARKADAS to 2222.
Can I answer messages sent to my telephone via WebMesaj?
The only thing you need to do to answer a message sent to you using WebMesaj is to choose “Reply” from you telephone menu. Messages that have been sent using WebMesaj that are answered from your telephone are chargeds at the normal rate.
Can I store SMS messages from my telephone on WebMesaj?
To store a message of up to 160 characters using WebMesaj, send it to 2020. To store longer messages, you have to separate the message into parts of not more than 160 characters before sending them to 2020.
