You can use TurkcellMessenger service by choosing one of the twfollowing charging methods:

  • Subscriber Charging (Unlimited usage):
  • You can use Turkcell Messenger in an unlimited fashion by subscribing tthe service.
  • For postpaid lines, unlimited monthly usage price is 10 YTL.
  • For prepaid lines, unlimited weekly usage price is 25 units. Nmatter which Turkcell Messenger application you are using, you won’t have tpay any additional fees. Wap and computer usages are alsincluded within the scope of the unlimited subscription.
  • Pay as you use (Charging per message): Any text messages tbe sent from your mobile phone or Turkcell Messenger wap application through Turkcell Messenger, will be charged at 8,5 YKR/1 units, chat messages will be charged at 8,5 YKR/1 unit, and mass text messages will be charged at 8,5 YKR/1 unit for each person that receives the message. Picture messages on the other hand will be charged at 34 YKR/4 units. However, usage through the PC application that you will download tyour computer or usage over internet will be charged half the price of mobile usages.

  • When you are abroad, if you use Turkcell Messenger from your mobile phone or wap, in addition tthe above charges, you will be charged according tthe data transferred over GPRS International Roaming Tariff.

Tuse Turkcell Messenger service, you first need tsubscribe tthe service.
You can send a short message tsubscribe tthe service or call Turkcell Customer Services at 4440532 / 4440535 or ga Turkcell Extra.

To subscribe for the unlimited usage:

Type in ABONE TELEFONMODELI by leaving one space in between and send t2150.

For example: For Nokia 6600, type in ABONE 6600 AYLIK and use the service in an unlimited fashion.

Postpaid lines will subscribe for 10 YTL monthly and prepaid lines for 25 units weekly and will get unlimited usage rights.

If your handset doesn’t support TurkcellMessenger mobile application, you can simply write ABONE TURKCELLMESSENGER and send to 2150 by SMS and subscribe tthe service for unlimited usage and use wap and computer applications.

To use the service with a charge per message:

Type in KAYIT TELEFONMODELI and send to 2150 by SMS.

For example: For Nokia 6600, type in KAYIT 6600 and start tuse the service without subscription and by being charged per message.

In Turkcell Messenger Internet and PC applications, you can write your mobile phone number on the user name/mobile phone areas and super password in the password area and start chatting. If you don’t know your super password, type in SIFRE and send to 2222 get it. However you need tchange it on Turkcell web page start to use the service. Get the settings automatically: Type in TMSG TELEFONMODELİ and send to 2222 by SMS. (SMS is free).

For exmaple: TMSG 6600

Save the settings you will receive as ‘settings’ tyour mobile phone by entering the PIN code 1234. Choose ‘save’ from the options, choose ‘make default setting’. This way you will have saved them under the name TURKCELL MESSENGER. If you can’t get the settings this way or save them, call Turkcell Customer Services at 4440532/4440535 for support.

For Nokia 3650, 3660, 7650 handsets:

  • Main menu > Tools > Settings > Connection > Access points > Option > New Access Point > Use default settings.>

  • Before the application is opened, the profile of the connection is requested, Turkcell Messenger must be chosen and after that you can login.


For Nokia 6220, 6810, 6820, 7200 handsets:

  • Menu > Services > Settings > Connection Settings > Active Service Settings > choose an ‘Empty’ profile
  • Menu > Services > Settings > Connection Settings > Set active service settings > Name it: Turkcell Messenger
  • Close copies: Close
  • Carrier Settings >GPRS access point:tmsg
  • Menu > Services > Settings > Connection Settings > Active service settings > GPRS account is re-selected, otherwise connection tWAP can’t be done.

Topen a Turkcell Messenger session, choose this account you generated.

  • Menu > Settings > Connection Settings
  • Option > Add new connection
    • Profile name: TURKCELL MESSENGER
    • Proxy: Uncheck the Proxy box.

    • APN name is entered as tmsg
    • Choose Save and save the settings and activate the generated account through Applications> Java world> Settings.


For Samsung E900 D830:

  • Menu > Applications > Java World > My Games > Options
    • Click on > Settings> Options> Add New Connection
    • Proxy: deactive it

For Samsung D520:

  • Menu > Applications > Java World > My Games > Options > Settings

  • Menu > File Manager > Games and more > select Turkcell Messenger >

Will cancellation of subscription be valid right away?

fter you subscribe, you have 1 month of unlimited usage of Messenger if you have a postpaid line and 1 week if you have a prepaid line. If you send a cancellation message before this period is over, you will continue to have your unlimited usage rights until your rights are used up. When this process is complete, cancellation will be valid.
