Documents needed for individuals:

• ID
• Invoice of a utility service
• The invoice for the purchase of the handset

Documents needed for foreigners:

• Valid passport
• Residence permit  (for the last 6 months)
• A notarized letter of guarantee from a Turkish citizen amounting to 1.200,00 YTL (or the company the foreign person works for)
• A utility service invoice in the name of the guarantor
• Utility service invoice
• The invoice for the handset

Notes:
For passports issued with an alphabet other than Latin, a notarized translation done by a sworn-in translator will be required. If the employer company is providing the guarantee, the book of authorized signatories of the company, VAT basis fiche and the ID of the authorized representative, are required.

Required documents for subscription of liaison offices in Turkey:

• Power of attorney sent from abroad
• (must be translated by a sworn-in translator and there must be an authorized representative in Turkey)
• Certificate of activity obtained from the Prime Ministry, Treasury and Foreign Trade Undersecretariat and handset invoice
• The ID of the company official

Required documents from switching from another network:

• Subscription Cancellation Order and Device Not-Used Certificates issued by the other operator and showing that the subscription has been cancelled and the device is no longer being used.
• Documents for opening the new line are requested

Documents required for public authorities and organizations or official authorities:

• The ID card of the person that signs the subscription agreement as the authorized representative
• An official, signed, stamped letter from the public office, or the official authority or the Consulate on the letterhand of the same, showing that the person has been granted authority to follow up the procedures regarding subscriptions 
• The invoice of the handset

Documents required for co-ops/Associations:

• The copy of the resolution of the Board of the Directors stating that the applicant is authorized to follow up the subscription procedures and that GSM line purchase is allowed under the resolution (in case of Municipalities, the notarized copy of the Municipality Assembly)
• The copy of the ID of the person that is authorized to follow up the subscription works under the resolution in the relevant book
• The handset invoice
  

Alternative documents

Documents that can be provided instead of ID:

• Driver’s license
• Valid passport

• Marriage ID
• If a representative was assigned, the notarized power of attorney and the ID of the attorney

Documents that can be provided instead of the utility service invoice

• Electricity, water, cable TV, natural gas, landline services invoices for one of the last two months
• The receipt showing that the amount of the invoice in the name of the subscriber, subscriber’s parents or spouse for one of the last 2 months, has been paid through the pay desk of the relevant organization (the receipt must show the installation number, name/surname. Bank slips will not be accepted for payments made through banks. In case of the documents in the name of the parents, spouses, the ID copies of the parents and the copy of the marriage card in the case of the spouse, will be required). 
• Electricity, water, natural gas, cable TV subscription contract (will be collected only from the subscribers that have just applied for subscription and that haven’t received their invoices yet. The date of the subscription contract must be in one of the last two months and must include name/surname, and subscriber number).
• Corporate ID (organization ID or certificate for the staff of Turkish Armed Forces; corporate ID or certificate for public servants; for self-employed people, the ID or written certificate obtained from the Chamber, Association, Bar etc, where the person is registered with; the copy of the front page of the Pensioner’s Fund, SSK or Bağkur card; TSK retired staff card…)
• Invoice from the other GSM operators (from one of the last two months )
• VISA or MASTER CARD statement from the banks and financial institutions with names, and address details on them or taksit card statement (for the one of the last two months)
• Advantage Card statement (for the one of the last two months)
• Digitürk invoice (for the one of the last two months)
• Turkcell invoice (for the one of the last two months)
• Credit card statement in the name of the parents, or spouse, Advantage card statement, Digiturk invoice, Turkcell invoice (for the one of the last two months)
• Electricity, water, natural gas, landline, cable TV subscription contract in the name of parents or spouse (for the one of the last two months). The ID copies of the parents and the copy of the marriage card in the case of the spouse, will be required) 
• Vehicle registration card (pages that include the identity and residence details) for the invoices that are under automatic payment instruction with a bank, the Invoice Payments Transactions Statement sent by the bank (for one of the last two months)
• If none of the above documents can be provided, a notarized letter of guarantee amounting to 1.200,00 YTL from a TC citizen (or the employer company). (With the letter of guarantee, the ID details and the copies of the utility service invoices of the guarantor will be requested) or a bank letter of guarantee (where it is stated what it covers, infinite and amounting to 1.200,00 YTL).
